Nigerian crossdresser Bobrisky has voiced criticism against those targeting luxury shopper and social media personality, KC Luxury, following his arrest by the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).
KC Luxury was recently apprehended by the anti-narcotics agency due to alleged involvement in cocaine trafficking. These accusations are still under investigation and have not been proven in court.
In response to the controversy on social media, Bobrisky called out some Nigerians for hypocrisy, noting how people who once celebrated KC Luxury were quick to judge him after the arrest.
He questioned why critics did not raise their concerns prior to the arrest.
Bobrisky also hinted that jealousy might fuel some reactions, especially from those previously affiliated with the luxury shopper.
Bobrisky clarified that although he is not a close friend of KC Luxury, he believes people should not desert their friends simply because they face allegations.
He emphasized that he would criticize any wrongdoing by a friend while still offering personal support.
For Bobrisky, friendships should not be discarded just because someone is accused of a crime.
He also expressed regret over reports suggesting that some of KC Luxury’s associates were distancing themselves from him after the arrest.
The incident has sparked widespread discussion online, with social media users expressing varied opinions about the allegations against KC Luxury.
While the NDLEA has charged him with involvement in an international drug-trafficking operation, the case is still under investigation.
KC Luxury remains presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
