Canadian music superstar Céline Dion has arrived in Paris, just two weeks ahead of her much-anticipated concert residency. Her arrival has drawn a warm welcome from fans gathered outside her hotel.
A crowd of admirers assembled outside the Royal Monceau, where the 58-year-old singer is staying during her visit to the French capital.
Fans who saw Dion noted that she appeared “in better shape,” “relaxed,” and “as beautiful as ever,” with many expressing their excitement at seeing the global icon in person.
Dion waved to the crowd, blew kisses, and briefly paused to greet fans and reporters. She told journalists she felt supported and called Paris her “second home.”
When asked about the opening song for her concerts, Dion chose to keep that detail a surprise.
Major Concert Comeback
The Paris residency marks Dion’s return to major concert performances after she canceled her Courage World Tour due to a diagnosis of stiff-person syndrome, a rare neurological disorder she publicly disclosed in 2022.
The condition required her to take a break from touring to focus on her health and recovery.
Her upcoming shows will take place at the Plenitude Arena in Nanterre, west of Paris. The venue, formerly known as Paris La Défense Arena, can host up to 40,000 spectators.
Dion last performed in Paris in 2024 during a surprise and emotionally charged appearance at the opening ceremony of the Paris Olympics, where she sang “Hymne à l’amour.”
2026–2027 Paris Residency
The upcoming residency will feature 16 performances in September and October 2026, with an additional 10 concerts planned for May 2027.
This return has generated significant excitement among Dion’s international fan base, marking another important chapter in her celebrated career.
