Galatasaray striker Victor Osimhen is reportedly ready to give the green light to a move to Arsenal, provided the Premier League champions change their position and agree a transfer fee with the Turkish club.
Osimhen has emerged as a potential target for Arsenal, with manager Mikel Arteta looking to strengthen his attacking options ahead of the new season.
The Gunners are reportedly seeking another striker following Viktor Gyökeres’ mixed debut campaign, while Gabriel Jesus is expected to leave the club.
Arsenal had previously shown interest in Atlético Madrid striker Julián Álvarez, but the Spanish club has reportedly rejected several approaches for the Argentina international.
The possibility of an Osimhen transfer gained momentum after Galatasaray opened discussions with Arsenal over potential deals involving Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri.
However, Galatasaray are currently unwilling to sanction Osimhen’s departure, meaning Arsenal would need to significantly change its position and reach an agreement with the Turkish champions before the transfer can happen.
