Five years after saying “I do,” Nollywood stars Stan Nze and Blessing Obasi Nze have renewed their vows and celebrated the love that has carried them through marriage.
The couple got married on September 11, 2021. They marked their fifth wedding anniversary with a special celebration filled with love, gratitude and renewed commitment.
Stan shared a simple but powerful message for his wife.
“If I had to choose again, I would choose you over and over again. I love you forever,” he said.
Blessing, meanwhile, looked back on their five years together with gratitude to God.
“This is 5!! What a ride,” she wrote. “I have no words other than gratitude to God, our anchor, our rock and our refuge.”
The actress said their anniversary video represented a deeply personal part of her life.
She explained that having Stan beside her each day remains something she does not take for granted.
“Waking up and getting to continue doing life with my whole heart right beside me is a dream; a reality I would forever be grateful for,” she said.
Blessing Praises Her Husband
Blessing also used the occasion to celebrate Stan’s character and the love he brings to their home.
She described him as her “king and sweetness” and praised his example of what she called Christlike love.
“To my king and sweetness, you set the bar too high for sweetness and Christlike love. It’s an honour to be called yours,” she wrote.
She concluded her message by reaffirming her commitment to their marriage.
“Cheers to forever… Love you irrevocably!!”
A Marriage That Began in Nollywood
Stan and Blessing were already established in Nollywood before they became husband and wife.
Both actors had developed their careers in the Nigerian film industry and understood the demands that come with working in the public eye.
They maintained a relatively private relationship before making their engagement public in 2021.
After announcing their plans to marry, they shared photographs and referred to themselves as “A King and his Queen.”
Their traditional wedding took place in Abia State.
They later held their white wedding in Lagos on September 11, 2021.
The ceremony attracted family, friends and entertainment personalities. Music star Timi Dakolo also performed at the reception.
Since their wedding, Stan and Blessing have continued to balance their marriage with their individual acting careers.
Their fifth anniversary and vow renewal now give the couple another opportunity to celebrate the bond they have built together.
