DMW singer Logos Olori has revealed what he believes keeps Afrobeats star Davido working hard despite his financial background.
Olori spoke about the singer during a recent appearance on the Wahala Podcast, describing Davido as someone who remains highly passionate about music.
The artiste said Davido’s wealth has not reduced his commitment to his craft.
According to Olori, Davido continues to work with the intensity of someone who still needs to make money from music.
He also suggested that competition among leading artistes may be another factor behind Davido’s relentless work ethic.
“I feel like the competition drives him. He is very passionate.”
Olori further stated that, in his view, financial gain is not Davido’s primary reason for making music.
“I don’t think he needs music money; he just does it for fun.”

The singer also shared details about how he eventually joined Davido’s record label.
Olori said his connection with Davido grew after he wrote ‘Unavailable’, one of the singer’s hit records.
He later became a DMW signee.
Before committing fully to his music career, Olori said he was living comfortably in Dubai. However, he eventually left the United Arab Emirates and moved to Nigeria to pursue music full time.
His account highlights the personal career decision he made to leave a comfortable environment and focus on establishing himself in Nigeria’s competitive music industry.
