Blessing Okoro, widely known as Blessing CEO, has reportedly lost her second son, Bryan, while she remains at the Nigerian Correctional Centre in Kirikiri, Lagos.
The news emerged on Friday after Amira Agiye, CEO of the Isaamira Love Foundation, made a public appeal for assistance on behalf of the social media personality.
Son’s Death Confirmed in Public Appeal
Agiye announced that Blessing CEO had lost her son and asked members of the public to support her during the difficult period.
An audio recording shared during the appeal also featured a voice attributed to Blessing CEO discussing the death of Bryan.
In the recording, she expressed hope that she would be released from custody so she could return home, mourn her son and deal with the aftermath of the loss.
No official details have been released about the cause or circumstances of the boy’s death.
Fundraising Appeal
Agiye said Blessing CEO needs assistance to meet the financial requirements attached to her bail.
She also appealed for funds to address other financial obligations connected to the legal dispute.
The foundation said the appeal was being made with Blessing CEO’s authorization.
Why Blessing CEO Is in Custody
Blessing CEO was arraigned by the EFCC in June over an alleged N69.15 million property fraud.
The EFCC accused her of obtaining N69.15 million from Hope Chiropractic Health Clinic Limited in connection with a purported five-year lease of a property in Lekki.
She pleaded not guilty to the charges.
The Lagos Special Offences Court later granted her N20 million bail in July.
The conditions included two sureties in the same amount, with each surety required to provide evidence of deposits valued at N20 million for three years.
She has reportedly remained in custody after failing to satisfy the bail requirements.
The court case is ongoing, and Blessing CEO remains presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
